| Blade Width | Measurement taken across the widest point of the tie before it tapers to a point. |

Please note: If the tie is narrow (for example a 60’s style tie) or has a flat end, the blade width is measured across the bottom edge of the tie.

| Waist | Measurement is taken from the narrowest part of the waist then doubled for correct sizing. Where the waistband is elasticated we will measure it stretched in proportion to the garment. Sometimes an elasticated waistband can provide an allowance for a larger size if stretched a little further without distorting the shape of the garment.
