How We Measure
Dresses
Chest
Measurement from underarm to underarm then doubled for correct sizing. You can measure this by wrapping the tape around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist
Measurement is taken from the narrowest part of the waist then doubled for correct sizing. Where the waistband is elasticated we will measure it stretched in proportion to the garment. Sometimes an elasticated waistband can provide an allowance for a larger size if stretched a little further without distorting the shape of the garment. In this instance, we will indicate a minimum and maximum waist measurement as part of our product description.
Hips
Measurement is taken below the waist at the hip. This is only applicable to form fitted dresses.
Thigh
Measurement is taken from the widest part of the garment. This is only applicable to form fitted dresses.
Length
Measurement from the shoulder to the lowest point of the hemline on the dress.
