How We Measure

Skirts

Waist Measurement is taken from the narrowest part of the waist then doubled for correct sizing. Where the waistband is elasticated we will measure it stretched in proportion to the garment. Sometimes an elasticated waistband can provide an allowance for a larger size if stretched a little further without distorting the shape of the garment. In this instance, we will indicate a minimum and maximum waist measurement as part of our product description. SKRIS
Hips Measurement is taken below the waist at the hip. This is only applicable to form fitted skirts.
Thigh Measurement is taken from the widest part of the garment. This is only applicable to form fitted skirts
Length Measurement is taken from the top of the waistband to the lowest point of the hemline on the skirt.
