80’s Batwing Short Sleeved Jumper with Nautical Navy & Gold Applique Pattern – S/M

Vintage 1980’s vibrant red batwing short sleeved jumper with a striking nautical themed applique pattern. The jumper features a super large chain edged in metallic gold thread on the right hand side with an anchor on the left and navy blue wheel embellished with sparkly diamantes.
The sizing label states a size S for a classic 80’s casual, slouchy fit. However due to the batwing cut, we also feel that it is a feasible size M for a slightly closer fit without compromising the intended casual style.
As the batwing sleeves extend out beyond the chest level, we have not provided a chest measurement as it would be greater than that expected for a standard size S/M chest. The width in this area however is approximately 42″ which factors in the additional fabric of the sleeves. In the absence of a shoulder seam from which to measure the sleeve length we have measured from the top of the neckline to the cuff end to obtain a more accurate measurement.
