Max Mara Long Black Evening Dress with Gold Strap Detail & Side Split – XS/S

Max Mara ‘Pianoforte’ long black figure hugging evening dress with off the shoulder detail accentuated by beaded gold braiding that runs along the side of the dress and across to create a striking feature strap. Additional design touches include lovely cut away detail at the upper back of the dress and a hemline of varying lengths with a long split at the front that’s subtly positioned on the right hand side.
The dress is an Italian size 42 and the label has equated this to a UK size 10. The fabric is made from viscose and therefore has some stretch to it. However we feel that this is possibly more of a present day UK size 8. Please refer to our measurements for further sizing guidance. Two waist measurements have been provided – one with the garment non stretched and the other with the dress stretched a little without distorting the overall intended shape.

Dresses
| Chest | Measurement from underarm to underarm then doubled for correct sizing. You can measure this by wrapping the tape around the fullest part of your chest. |  |
| Waist | Measurement is taken from the narrowest part of the waist then doubled for correct sizing. Where the waistband is elasticated we will measure it stretched in proportion to the garment. Sometimes an elasticated waistband can provide an allowance for a larger size if stretched a little further without distorting the shape of the garment.
