Vintage 1950’s Lemon Yellow Midi Circle Skirt – XS/S

Vintage 1950’s circle skirt in a soft lemon yellow colour tone. The skirt sits below the knee with a lovely voluminous shape to it due to the generous provision of fabric!
The garment has been tailor made and in the absence of a sizing label we approximate the skirt to be between a size XS and size S due to the fact that there is an elasticated waistband. Waist measurements have been provided with the waistband non stretched and stretched – without distorting the intended shape of the skirt. This part of the waistband is traditionally worn on the inside so that it is concealed – although there’s no rule that says it can’t be worn on display – we are in a modern age!
Although there is no fabric label, the skirt has a mid weight, quite sturdy cotton feel to it with a slight texture and grid-like woven pattern.

How We Measure
Skirts
| Waist | Measurement is taken from the narrowest part of the waist then doubled for correct sizing. Where the waistband is elasticated we will measure it stretched in proportion to the garment. Sometimes an elasticated waistband can provide an allowance for a larger size if stretched a little further without distorting the shape of the garment. In this instance, we will indicate a minimum and maximum waist measurement as part of our product description. |  |
